国际驾照常见问题

1. 如何保证国际驾照有效？

国际驾照必须要与本国签发的驾驶执照同时使用方可有效。也就是说，持国际驾照在国外开车的同时还要带着本国驾照。少了其中之一，有可能会被当地警方认为无效。

2. 驾照适用哪些国家？

英、美、德、法、日、加等180多个国家和地区。只要是联合国参加国，国际驾照就适用。详见“ 适用国家 ”。

3. 申请国际驾照需要什么？

1. 填写国际驾照申请表；
2. 彩色护照照片两张；
3. 有效护照复印件，并签字；
4. 本国或他国有效驾驶执照原件或是复印件，并签字；
   

4. 申请国际驾照需多长时间？

在接到您的申请并收到汇款后，我们会在5小时内处理完毕送交审批，通常普通件需要2-3周，加急件只需10个工作日之内，您便可以收到您的驾照。

5. 中国人在国内可否持国际驾照驾车？

在国内驾车应使用中国驾照。 　

6. 我要办理国际驾照越快越好，有什么特殊服务吗？

7. 我在德国，可以办理国际驾照吗? 国际驾照在国内是否也能拿到？

在德国或任何其他国家的华人都可以通过我们办理国际驾照。我们也可以帮您将国际驾照送到您在国内的指定地点。

8. 在使用国际驾照的同时，我还需要出示自己的中国驾照吗？

是的，程序上您需要同时出示自己中国的驾照和国际驾照。

9. 如何更新驾照上的地址？

如需要更新国际驾照上的地址，您需邮寄给我们您的国际驾照复印件和30英镑更改费，此外还有一份附有新地址的申请表。

10. 我现在不在本国，应该填写哪儿的地址？

您在国际驾照上显示的地址应与您本国的驾驶执照上的地址相同。

11. 我本国的驾照再有6个月就到期了，我还能继续使用国际驾照吗？

您可以在本国驾照有效的6个月内继续使用国际驾照。 但您不能在国内驾照过期后继续使用国际驾照。

12. 我遗失了我的国际驾照该怎么办?

您的驾照如果遗失，您将不能再在国外驾驶。如果您需要重新办理一份，请重新填写您的资料寄给我们，我们将在48小时内为您办理好，补办费用150英镑，加上国际快递费20英镑。您可以在6个工作日内收到补办的国际驾照。

14. 我要申请办理国际驾照，我需要做些什麼？

你需要将你的办理申请表，将你的驾照复印件，中国护照复印件，彩色证件照片2张，办驾照费用寄给我们。

Q: Can a person with a revoked or suspended license drive with an IDL?
A: No, You must hold a valid Original Driver's license to drive abroad with an IDL.

Q: I received Email from a company stating I could avoid points, tickets, suspension, etc. by using an IDL. Is this true?
A: IDLs do not replace or supercede Original Driver licenses.

Q: IIn reference to IDL: What documents must accompany it when driving in the USA?
A: A valid foreign Original driver's license, this is not supplied by US.

Q: Can I drive with an IDL only?
A: No, you must also carry the original driver's license.

Q: What is an International Driver's license, an International Driving Permit, or an International Driver's Document?
A: Basically, it's a translation of an original d riving document drawn or written in accordance to international standards.

Q: Is there a test involved to obtain the IDL?
A: No. Your Original Driver license from your home state or country confirms your ability and your right to drive abroad. However, it is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with the rules of the road when driving abroad and conform strictly to the local laws and regulations.

Q: Which translations are provided with the IDL?
A: French, Spanish, English, Russian, Arabic, German, Chinese, and Japanese

1、国际驾照得到各签约国家或地区的认可。但由于各国交通法规不尽相同，而且可能会随时间而有所改变。建议持有国际驾照者到有关国家或地区旅行时，先了解一下本地的最新情况，并熟读当地驾驶规则，确保安全驾驶。
2、国际驾照必须与驾驶员原来的有效驾驶证件一起使用！

NOTICE::

Your International Driving Document MUST be accompanied at all times by your original valid driver's license. You are not allowed to present IDL as the main document because it is a translation of your original driver's license.

Before buying the IDL card from any company you have to know:

1. IDL is NON-Government document.
2. IDL can't substitute a state-issued driver's license and a photo ID card.
3. IDL can't verify your identity.
4. IDL doesn't give the permission to drive legally in the USA and any other country without state-issued driver's license, a state-issued identification card, valid immigration documents, or a passport. ( Note: IDL is not recognized in all U.S. States )
5. IDL can't be used in the country where you received your state-issued driver's license.
6. If you are USA resident, an IDL is of no use within the USA
7. All rental car companies have their own corporation rules. If you plan to rent a car in some country, you have to call the rental company and observe the company's rules and regulations before you buy the IDL.
